We understand the risk profile of the housing sector. Whether it's building related compliance with the 'big six' through to ensuring the safety of your frontline teams, procuring and maintaining crucial relationships with contractors, delivering supported housing or community work. We're here to help.

First Aid for Trades

We offer a half day First Aid for Trades which covers:

  • Incidents likely to be encountered when working in peoples homes.
  • Self treatment if you are working alone.
  • Basic first aid skills for others.
  • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty.
  • CPR skills.
  • Use of a defibrillator.

Sessions are for up to 12 delegates and delivered by our qualified First Aid Trainer & Assessor.

45001 Internal Audits, Supplier Audits and Gap Analysis

We can support organisations at every stage of their ISO 45001 journey, from initial gap analysis and system development through to implementation, internal auditing and ongoing improvement. Our ISO 45001 services can help you establish a practical, proportionate Occupational Health & Safety Management System, prepare for certification, maintain compliance and ensure your system delivers meaningful improvements in health and safety performance.

Inspection & Audit

Some examples of our audit and inspection services for our housing clients:

  • Regular H&S Inspections of office and/or depot buildings.
  • Health & Safety Audits on topics (e.g. lone working, personal safety, training, risk assessment) or on the entire health and safety management system.
  • Active monitoring of contractors or in house teams working on empty homes or refurbishment projects.

Face Fit Testing

We can help our housing clients or their contractors to ensure that respiratory protective equipment is achieving a suitable seal, and therefore providing the intended level of protection from respiratory hazards.

We use a qualitative kit to help ensure that the mask is fitting appropriately. This test is only suitable for those who are clean shaven.

We offer face fit test prices per person or we can run group sessions or we can work with you to operate a regular programme to ensure new starters are captured at the beginning of their employment, please get in touch to discuss further.
